Project “Energy Efficiency” 2022-2023

Purpose

The main objective of this project is to significantly reduce the environmental impact of our headquarters by lowering energy consumption and increasing the production of clean energy.

Results

Thanks to these improvements, we have reduced annual energy consumption by 32.3%, equivalent to 4.08 TOE (Tons of Oil Equivalent).

Our expanded photovoltaic system allows us to achieve a positive net energy balance over the year, producing a surplus of clean energy that covers our total annual needs and yields an environmental benefit of 22 TOE.

ITACOIL uses certified renewable energy

Any energy needs not met by our photovoltaic system are covered by purchasing power exclusively from renewable sources certified under the EU Renewable Energy Certificate System (RECS).

This ensures that our external supply remains fully aligned with our commitment to low environmental impact.
